Privacy policy

SD Client is an email client for Gmail. It connects only to the Gmail accounts you add yourself, with your explicit permission, and shows them in one place.

What we store

  • Mail metadata (sender, recipients, subject, date, a short preview, Gmail labels), so your mail can be listed, searched and sorted into folders.
  • Your folders, rules, signatures and settings.
  • Contacts built from the people you write to, for suggestions when you write a mail.
  • Google access tokens, encrypted.

What we don't store

The text and attachments of your mail. They are loaded from Gmail only when you open a mail, and are not saved by us.

Who we share it with

Nobody. Your data is not sold, not passed to third parties and not used for advertising. It is not used to train AI models. Data is stored with our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase, servers in the EU) only to run the service.

Google API Services User Data Policy

SD Client's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to show, organise, label and send your own mail.

What changes in your Gmail

Nothing, unless you ask for it. Labels are only created in Gmail if you turn this on, and one click removes every label the app created. Deleted mail goes to Gmail's bin, where it can be restored for 30 days.

Revoking access and deleting your data

You can revoke access any time in your Google account's security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions), or remove an account in the app's settings: its stored data is deleted from the app. To delete your whole profile, write to solymardigital@gmail.com.
